First MMMH Annual Artist Showcase Launches in Philly

Last week Music Makes Me Happy spent two days bringing Music Happiness to the City of Brotherly Love.  We wrapped up our time in Philly by launcing a series of Artist Showcases featuring local talent in Philly with plans to bring similar showcases to Atlanta, and Los Angeles! These featured artists aren’t just super talented but display a crazy amount of love and commitment to their community by using music to inspire change! This interactive showcase featured Philly’s own, John Graves, BriaMarie, Suzann Christine, and Youssef Kromah and opened with a dope musical set by Jacqueline Constance. The concert took place at Voltage Lounge and also served as a platform to introduce our First Annual Community Award, given to indivduals that come from and continue to positively impact the arts in their local community. The inaugural award went to the dynamic production duo of Carvin & Ivan. This team is credited with pushing the Philly sound by working with acts like Jill Scott and propelling Musiq Soulchild onto the scene.
